RECOGNIZE THE POTENTIAL OF THOSE WE SERVE

Chiropractic has helped millions of people recover from sickness, disease and disability and minimize the use of drugs and surgery in their lives. The following is a list but not limited of the following conditions:

Pre-natal
Pregnancy
Arthritis
Joint pain
Asthma
Shoulder pain

Neck pain
Migraine headaches
Knee pain
Irritable bowel
Muscle spasms
Vertigo

Carpal tunnel syndrome
Hip pain
Neuropathy
Sprain ankle
Jaw pain
Sciatica

Back pain
Ear infection
Pinched nerve
Allergies
Gout
And many many more.

Science shows there are hundreds more of conditions that can be helped through Chiropractic and Acupuncture. The odds are in the favor of the patient.

WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?

“Chiropractic has helped millions of people recover from sickness, disease, and disability and minimize the use of drugs and surgery in their lives”

Modern Chiropractic began in 1895 when Dr. D.D. Palmer performed the first chiropractic "spinal adjustment" on his deaf janitor, Harvey Lillard. Lillard's hearing returned, and Palmer thought he had discovered a cure for deafness. But as his patients with digestive troubles, sciatica, menstrual trouble, migraine headaches, epilepsy, heart problems, back pain, and many other conditions responded to spinal care, Palmer realized he had discovered something more far-reaching.

Chiropractors work with the spinal column and spinal cord bones and nerves, respectively. Chiropractors spend years of highly specialized training to locate and correct where misplaced spinal vertebrae are impinging the nerves that travel down the spinal column to the muscles, organs, and glands of the body. After locating the vertebrae affecting the nerves (subluxation), the chiropractor, using various highly specialized techniques, can replace the misplaced vertebra and thus release the pressure on the nerve(s). This is called a Spinal Adjustment.

Because the Nervous System is directed by Chiropractic Adjustment and is the master system of the human body, all kinds of conditions can be positively affected, such as colds, ear infections, PMS, spinal or disc problems, arthritis, insomnia, stress, vision problems, headaches, allergies, bedwetting, colic, high blood pressure - the list is long, and yet, please remember the goal of chiropractic treatment is not the treatment of disease but rather the enhancement of health through the reduction of spinal nerve stress “Vertebral Subluxation Complex.”

WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?

“When you have over 750 million people and it has been working for 5,000 years there must be something to it. “

The Chinese Definition of Health is “All Parts of the body functioning normally,” all 400 trillion parts, including cells, tissues, glands, organs, and systems. Acupuncture is a 5,000-year-old system of natural healing concerned with proper energy flow to these 400 trillion parts (cells, tissues, organs, glands, on the premise that most diseases are the result of malfunction due to disrupted energies. Just below the skin surface are 1) channels of energy flow and 2) the spinal column where nerve cords and acupuncture meridians reside. Acupuncturists detect disturbance of energy flows within patients by pain spots, organ reflex points, pulse, and instrumental findings.

Acupuncture is performed after the location of the meridian or “point”: is determined in over thirty different methods, which include, but are not limited to 1) Long Needle Insertion (Acupuncture anesthesia for surgery), 2) Short needle penetration, 3) Non-piercing needles, 4) Fingertip pressure (“shishin” or “finger needles”), 5) Electric Stimulation.

Textbook conditions run into the hundreds, including nerve pains, and neuropathies, headaches, low back pain, osteoarthritis, ulcers, female disorders, shortness of breath, bed wetting and childhood diseases, and even psychiatric disorders. Acupuncture is not like one drug for one problem; on the contrary, it is a complete healing art within itself concerned with the systems of the body such as nervous, circulatory, digestive, respiratory, eliminatory, reproductive, hormonal, musculoskeletal, etc., and seeks to correct health problems within those systems.

Spinal adjusting has always been a part of Acupuncture Health Care. World authorities, including Feliz Mann, M.D. of England; Paul Nogier, M.D. of France; and Kunzo Ngayama, M.D. of Japan, are very emphatic on this aspect of “getting well”. Dr. Mann states that many internal diseases are cured by spinal adjustment alone. Leaving the adjustment (tuina) out of the treatment plan invites failure.
